Debbie Morgan

It is a pleasure to offer my recommendation for this exceptional person.I have known Nicole since 2009 serving as her 4-H leader and coordinator of Oakland County 4-H Horse Camp.Nicole first applied for a counselor-in-training position for the annual horse camp in 2009.I have personally called on Nicole to assist with 4-H equine related activities several times the past few years and she cares for my own horses and animals when I am away.Nicole is a very responsible, dedicated equestrian and I trust her with youth and the care and handling of any animal she comes in contact with.

Nicole’s role as a 4-H project leader in the horse area has been extensive. She has supervised horse related activities and mentored youth with enthusiasm and devotion. Her demonstrated passion and dedication to the youth and the horse project is evident in her enthusiasm and willingness to volunteer throughout the year in 4-H and with the Michigan Interscholastic Horse Association as a coach and mentor to members of local equestrian teams.Working as an adult volunteer in a youth development program brings many challenges. There is the expectation that a volunteer will consistently perform at the highest level, always with the best developmental interests of youth in mind.Nicole exemplifies these attributes.

Nicole’s effective, positive relationships with youth, parents, and leaders in the general community; her focus on creating asset-building experiences for and with youth are exceptional. She is a responsible, proactive, positive leader with a true concern for the success of the programs and provides a positive influence on the youth she reaches.
