  • Equestrian Rider (Hunter/Jumper) for 10 years
  • Compete in AA and A shows in the Southern United States
  • Practice 3-4 days a week (3hrs per day)
  • Have owned my horse for four years 

Ambassadors (Sophomore, Junior, Senior)

Tour Guide/ Event Coordinator

Represented Ursuline Academy as an Ambassador for the three years that a student is able to participate.

  • Worked most major events, including Freshman Orientation, Mardi Gras, and Graduation
  • Chaired one of the most important honorary events for the school, Sophomore Serviam, in 2012 
  • Led tours for prospective students, teachers, and donors    

Promise International (Junior, Senior)

Event Coordinator/ Treasurer  

Promise International helps support Uganda’s orphans and other needy children by providing safe, loving homes and education.We seek to develop the next generation of Ugandan community leadership by equipping disadvantaged young people with a faith in God, a solid education, vocational skills, and the tools to become self-supporting, contributing members of society. Promise International strives to educate the Ursuline community about Ugandan issues.

  • Founded club along with several classmates; this is our second year of existence
  • Served as event coordinator and treasurer
  • As coordinator, strategized fundraising efforts, solicited and managed funds for our events

Jesuit Rangerettes Drill Team (Sophomore)


  • Performed in the Super Bowl (2011) with the Black Eyed Peas

Gray Piano Studios (Freshman)


  • Played piano and received piano lessons for 10 years
  • Performed in semi-annual recitals
  • Received numerous Whitlock Theory Awards


Ursuline Academy Summer Internship Program (Senior)


Selected for competitive internship at Medical City Children’s Hospital.  Interned with Dr. Tia Raymond, in the Congenital Heart Surgery Unit.

  • Gained career awareness, personal development, professional mentoring, and exposure to fields of interest
  • Present in operating room during open heart surgeries, which allowed me to gain knowledge of human anatomy, surgical methods, and medical technology
  • Interacted with a Cardiologist, Anesthesiologist, Nurse Practitioner, and Neonatal nurses, as well as with patients and their families

ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior)

  • Control horses during grooming process
  • Guide and control horses during lessons

  • Sorted donated merchandise for needy families during Christmas Store event
  • Provided childcare assistance during community events
  • Worked with families to help make selections from Christmas Store

T-Shirt Drive for Rugs (Junior)


  • Collected donated T-shirts for a family from Uganda, whose income is derived from making rugs out of T-shirts
  • Raised awareness of poverty in Uganda at Ursuline Academy
