I currently teach English I (9thgrade) at UNO-Pierre A. Capdua Early College High School. I have gained knowledge of classroom management skills, time management skills, and I have become familiar with the new state-mandated Comprehensive Curriculum. I am also familiar with implementing IEP and 504 plans for those students with special needs as mandated by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2004. I have also gained knowledge of the Middle College Consortium.

I served as the 6th grade English Language Arts teacher and the 6th grade Social Studies teacher. My jJob duties included creating lesson plans, teaching structured lessons according to the Louisiana State content standards, and all other duties assigned to a teacher. My duties also included working within the inclusion educational model, which led to my creating concurrent lesson plans to meet the needs of the 504 and Special needs students.
