Architecture is a general term to describe buildings and other physical structures. This is the exact impression I had when I entered the world of Architecture. Now that i have successfully completed the five years of intense curriculum and sleepless nights, the notion of what exactly architecture has changed immensely. The heart of architecture is not just the science or just the art but collaboration of both making it a passionate and hard working field to work in. It is the only art that can be touched, smelled and seen. The only art that no one can live without, be it a small hut in a village or just the arrangement of trees around that hut. This massive discipline has taught me not only to work hard but to be absolutely passionate about the work I do and specially the ability to think on my feet.
I’m a recent graduate of architecture (professional degree) from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (Ranchi), India. Due to the international framework of my studies and Problem Based Learning approach that BIT Mesra imposes, I appreciate it to work effectively in international teams and transform problems into challenging projects through critical thinking, creativity and innovativeness.
