Responsibilities

·Establishing policies on admission,attendance,and fees.

·Preparing periodic reports on the status of the program to the principal and school board.

·Communicating with parents by email,phone,formal and informal meetings, and newsletters.

·Soliciting information periodically from families to determine satisfaction and improving the program.

·Preparing and maintaining the Preschool Handbook containing procedures and policies.

·Maintaining variety of records, including registrations,accident reports,medical records,etc.

· Performing a variety of miscellaneous duties, such as answering the telephone, running errands,picking up supplies,conducting activities, and helping set-up for events.

·Performing related duties as required by the principal.

Supervision and Personnel

·Recruiting,selecting and hiring staff to run the Preschool program in compliance with School regulations.

·Supervising and formally evaluating all Preschool staff.

·Planning and providing staff development opportunities training.

·Holding staff meetings on a regular basis.

Curriculum and Instruction

·Collaborating with teachers to plan instructional activities and lessons, which promote developmentally appropriate student learning.

·Overseeing and formally evaluating the curriculum and the instruction of the staff.

·Teaching, educating and monitoring children as needed.

·Procuring and organizing instructional equipment and supplies.

·Serving as a classroom aide as needed.

Facilities and Safety

·Monitoring the safety of students, staff, and facilities.

·Regularly inspecting equipment and play areas to ensure safety and cleanliness.

·Procuring and use all required safety equipment and training staff on its use .

·Reviewing safety issues at each staff meeting.

Financial

·Developing and maintaining an annual budget .

·Managing books .

·Preparing financial statements on a monthly basis and presenting them to the principal and bookkeeper.

Marketing and Development

·Promoting the positive Image of the Preschool.

·Working with the school director, principal, and development committee to market and advertising the Preschool.
