2010 – 2011 – Commercial Treasury • Provided treasury relationship management to a portfolio of SME companies based in Dublin & the Northwest of Ireland, covering exposures such as FX, money market, interest rate & cash management. • Worked with business bankers to launch an interest rate management strategy for the SME sector, including producing a monthly pricing update & undertaking a programme of seminars to educate the market. 2008 – 2010 – International Business Development • Developed a cold calling programme to assist the bank with it’s funding requirements; this entailed identifying, contacting & developing new relationships. • Presented investor relations style briefings to new & existing clients to inform them of relevant bank & country information 2005 – 2008 – Institutional Treasury • Provided treasury relationship management to the top 100 companies in Ireland including Plc, Semi State & IFSC companies, covering exposures such as FX, money market, interest rate & cash management. • Managed the flow of relevant & up to date market information to the customers, to assit the management of their treasury exposures • I was closely involved in the implementation & integration of AIB's bulk payment system into two leading Irish corporates. • As a company director, I was responsible for overseeing the management team & deciding the strategic direction for the credit union, to ensure the shareholders best interests were being served. • As company secretary I had responsibility for minuting all board meetings, as well as completing all statutory returns to the Financial Regulator, Irish League of Credit Unions and Auditors. • I chaired the board sub committee with responsibility for ensuring all necessary & relevant policies & procedures were in place & appropriate • I was a member of the board sub committee which tendered for, awarded and implemented a document management programme. This included negotiating with multiple vendors, analysing multiple product specifications, working with staff to earn their buy in & overseeing the implementation.

• As a relationship manager my primary role was to work with companies to manage their FX, money market & interest rate exposures. • During this time I managed a team, which included graduate trainees whom I mentored assisting their progression to relationship managers. • I initiated and managed the project to redesign the treasury mandate including negotiation with Legal, Compliance and Back Office. • I managed the Corporate Resources Desk. This desk contained the combined deposit book of the customer group. The desk management involved strategically hedging the exposures while balancing the demands for liquidity against financial targets.
