Presently maintaining an independent dental practice in Montgomery Village, Maryland, Dr. Sherwin Kevy obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from the New York University College of Dentistry. After earning his D.D.S. in 1979, Dr. Kevy moved on to undertake a postgraduate residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, a non-profit teaching hospital recognized as one of the country’s leading health care institutions. Dr. Kevy further refined his clinical skills over the course of the next decade before opening his Montgomery Village office, where he continues to derive great professional and personal satisfaction. Dr. Sherwin Kevy offers a wide array of oral health care services to children, adolescents, and adults through his general dentistry practice. Treatment ranges from basic examinations and cleanings to cosmetic smile enhancements. Dr. Kevy accepts most major insurance plans and strives to help each patient to feel as comfortable as possible during routine and emergency procedures. As an active member of the Montgomery Village community, Dr. Sherwin Kevy enjoys the opportunity to interact with his patients in and out of the office, and he considers himself a mentor to many of the community’s teenage residents. To ensure that his knowledge of dental medicine remains fully updated, Dr. Sherwin Kevy regularly sets time aside to take part in a variety of professional education classes. A philanthropic individual, Sherwin Kevy makes regular contributions to medical charities working to find a cure for diseases such as breast cancer, Crohn’s disease, and juvenile diabetes. Dr. Kevy also supports the Boy Scouts of America. Regarding his hobbies and interests, Dr. Kevy has a great love of photography and has many years of experience in the darkroom. He has also developed great skill with digital photography.
