Communications Officer


Edited, wrote and managed content (features, stories, news) for the UN Plus website (network of UN staff living with HIV) including photo editing. Analyzed qualitative and quantitative country data and drafted sections of the 2012 Global Report on AIDS (published in December 2012) and co-led the production of the chapter on Stigma and Discrimination, including key messages, graphics and fact sheets. Designed and developed social media strategy for UN Plus. Increased visibility of UN Plus within target communities and partners, resulting in a 500% increase of Facebook followers of the UN Plus page. Designed and implemented UN-wide photo competition for the creation of the UN Plus 2013 calendar, which raised awareness on the importance of  universal access to healthcare.
