Summary

Sheldon is a classically trained Bay Area photographer. He graduated from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA in 2012 and then traveled the world as a Cruise Ship Photographer aboard Holland America Lines' cruise ships. Sheldon assisted for Michael Soo, the Popular Photography Magazine's Photographer of the Year. He now does corporate photography for Voco Design in San Francisco, as well as professional real estate photography for Spotlight Home Tours. He also owns and operates his own photography studio in Oakland, California.

Real Estate Photographer

I'm a Real Estate Photographer for Spotlight Home Tours.  I coordinate with agents and our in-house editors to take professional photographs for homes on sale in the real estate market.  I take multiple exposures around the house and deliver them via FTP to our editors who take the photographs and stitch them together into beautiful HDR images that are compliant with Multiple Listing Service's requirements for real estate photographs.

Head Photographer & Designer for Voco Design in San Francisco. I coordinate studio and on-site photography for corporate clients. I directly oversee graphic design work for projects that require a quick, high quality turnaround, and build initial mockups for our coding department. I manage a team to build custom websites for companies, create graphic elements, and design digital, print, and physical media.

Graphic Designer

I was the in-house Graphic Designer & Photographer for the Food Truck Division of The Melt.  I was in charge of drawing up flyers and advertisements as well as any other graphic needs of the trucks including, but not limited to, signage, internal employee newsletters, and social media.   I also represented the company at Trade Shows and special events.  I was tasked with maintaining and adding to the Salesforce database where catering and client information was stored and contacted Outside Sales Leads for catering purposes.

I photographed 10,000+ photos a week aboard an R-Class Cruise Liner.  I was consistently #1 in my fleet for sales, and helped manage a gallery aboard the ship.  I was in charge of the photography classes aboard the ship, as well as events run by the gallery.

I was Senior Graphic Designer for Bay Area Web Design. I oversaw creation of all the custom graphics built for print, web, mixed media, and logo work. I also oversaw all of the social media sites connected to the account; including Twitter, Facebook, and Google+.  I was in charge of final approval on all designs created by the company before delivering to clients.

I managed a 4-person team that oversaw the filing, claiming, and follow-up for Government Solar Rebates in the State of California.  While I was working, I personally filed and claimed over 6 million dollars in rebates, as well as helped build the digital system for rebates that is still in use today.  While I was working for Akeena Solar, they were the leading Solar Panel Installer in California.

Projection / Warehouse Supervisor

I was a certified projectionist for AMC Theaters. I also supervised Guest Services, Concession, Kitchen, Theater Cleaning, Box Office, Warehouse, and Maintenance. I was in charge of the entire warehouse for the AMC Metreon Complex and was one of two people specially trained to do maintenance in the theater. I was also trained in how to build and take down movie reels from being shipped to the theater, through to viewing, and then eventually being shipped back to the production house.
