“I had the pleasure and priviledge of working with Sheila at Equity Residential. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the property management industry, she is an excellent teacher and facilitator. She was also the "Chief Learning Officer" for her region, conducting needs analysis, educational strategic planning, and budget preparation and control. She is one of the reasons Equity was so well known for its education activities.”

“Sheila is a wonderful, caring person that always makes time for anyone that needs her. She is a top notch teacher and trainer that is always looking for new ways to make the people she touches better. I have known Sheila for many years and every time I see her she puts a smile on my face and makes the rest of the day a little brighter.”

Terry Brewer

“I had the pleasure of working with Sheila for approximately six years, four of which Sheila reported directly to me. In her role, Sheila was responsible for ensuring all employees possessed the skills, knowledge, and training required to be successful in their positions. Sheila implemented many new training programs and initiatives. She is extremely cooperative and always willing to assist with any project or task needed. This was evident when she took on the role as Temporary Marketing Director, while still responsible for training, for approximately three months. Sheila's strong organizational, time management, and team building skills were apparent and contributed to her success during this time. Any company who employs Sheila as part of the management team, I am confident will have success.”

I hired and worked with Sheila Alkire for 3+ years. Sheila provided our organization with many things: innovative training and expertise, major planning and rollout, increased morale, ROI for employee training and development, and a fearless can-do winning attitude. She is ambitious, credible, genuine, and always looking to achieve the “right” results—not just results. She is also one of the most loyal, dedicated, hard-working individuals on the planet and always has a smile on her face. She is a leader in her field of organizational training and development, and if I could hire her today, I would. She is an asset to any organization luck enough to have her.”

Shelly Aftim

“I worked with Sheila at Equity Residential, I was a GM and Sheila was the Regional Education Director. I also did field training for Equity and taught many of their courses in New England, so in that capacity, I did report to Sheila directly. Sheila was always great to work with. She was very organized, very capable, very enthusiastic and a great role model! I never worried when I had to train, whether it was one on one or a larger group, because Sheila dotted her i's and crossed her t's, I was always prepared. It's because of Sheila's guidance that I still love to train, and still get asked to train, today!”
