About Sheila Bugdanowitz

Over the course of her career, nonprofit executive Sheila Bugdanowitz has combined a dedication to her community with a comprehensive working knowledge of financial and organizational management. She has served as the president and chief executive officer of the Rose Community Foundation since 1999. Sheila Bugdanowitz has since worked to advance the foundation's financial health, strategic development, and position in the community.

Charged with leadership of the Rose Community Foundation's grantmaking initiatives as well, Sheila Bugdanowitz has played a key role in funding the Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund, Boomers Leading Change in Health, and the Colorado Jewish Early Childhood Education Initiative. She upholds a dedication to strengthening community connections and improving opportunities for people of all ages. In recognition of her service to the community, Ms. Bugdanowitz has received such honors as the Girl Scouts’ Mile High Council's Woman of Distinction Award as well as the El Pomar Foundation's Shrine of the Sun Award.
