Calling

God is calling me to lead a church whose identity is shaped and whose mission is empowered by

living with Jesus Christ at its core.  Click here to read more . . .

On a Personal Note . . .

Much of Shawn's free time is spent with his kids, telling extemporaneous stories, playing at the beach whenever possible, and making music together.  Click here to watch Shawn and his son Walker perform at a Jazz Nativity.

Though Shawn plays more than a dozen instruments, his favorite things to play are the notes not written on the page.

He also loves any sport that involves a ball and the thrill of a close game.

About Shawn . . .

Shawn is a creative, natural, and passionate communicator.

He is known by his colleagues as funny, prophetic (about truth, not the future), and very persuasive.

Shawn's unique combination of relational and administrative gifts enable him to effectively lead people and systems.  His ability to relate to people of all personalities, ages, and backgrounds has served him well in his extensive pastoral experience.  Shawn's administrative leadership has enabled him to successfully launch new initiatives, refine existing ministries, and manage organizational change.
