Working in a Team

3 month project in final year of university completed in a team of 3. Roles and tasks delegated over long time period. Fortnightly meetings to relate progress and issues. Final project consisted of written report, multimedia presentation b to rest of the class and another written report reflecting on assignment. Achieved a 1st.

Worked in all departments during Library placement. Developed ability to easily and quickly adapt to new tasks and work in tandem with new work colleagues.

Liaisoned with Module and Year representatives for the Creative Writing acting as Course Representative.

Collated queries and issues brought to my attention by Module and Year Representatives and delivered reports during  Course Board Meetings  which were held twice in the year. Board was composed of course tutors as well as upper university management.

Each assignment during my course was paired with a shorter written essay that reflected on the creative piece we completed. In addition an annual report reflecting on the past year of study was also required. These were completed to high standards and received predominantly 2:1s and 1sts.

Creative readings were held annually. Delivered creative spoken word piece in front of year group followed by a short Q&A session regarding the piece. Gained confidence and experience speaking in front of large crowds.

Co-founded and ran Student Union Society. Created website, social-media presence and planned meetings.

Headed quarterly informal   classroom meetings to gather students opinions and issues with the course. Also headed bi-annual meetings with Year and Module Representatives.
