Schreiber Public Relations is a strategic public relations and communications consultancy founded in 1994 by industry veteran, Sharon Schreiber.

Executive Director

Licking County Foundation, Newark Campus Development Fund & Thomas J. Evans Foundation

Developed and implemented strategic advancement and marketing plans for Licking County Foundation, increasing visibility, augmenting growth, and doubling the assets of the foundation. Managed and administered a $5 million endowment for Newark Campus Development Fund, working with community board of directors and investment and allocation committees to raise and distribute funds in support of The Ohio State University at Newark and the Central Ohio Technical College. Guided actions in support of the Thomas J. Evans Foundation, a privately funded organization dedicated to improving Licking County. Continued as consultant until 2007.

■Increased Licking County Foundation’s assets by 200%—currently valued at $20+ million—by  creating  and executing strategic marketing plans, increasing awareness, and initiating relationships with potential donors to establish foundation funds; worked with the governing committee and community leaders to initiate innovative, proactive grantmaking programs.

■Continued to consult with the Licking County Foundation, providing leadership in the areas of concept design, story development, donor and grantee interviews and recognition, and writing and editing of annual reports.


Director of Public Relations

University of Florida Health Science Center

Initiated a public relations program for the Health Science Center/Faculty Clinic, a new multi-specialty outpatient medical facility, involving developing an awareness of the program’s affiliation with the university and the related implications on the level of care provided. Defined existing referral webs among faculty and community physicians throughout target market area.

■Built a community and regional awareness of the clinic, physicians, and high quality care; strengthened referral networks; and laid the foundation for sustainable business development and community outreach.


Account Executive/New Business

Zimmerman Public Relations

Recruited, after just one year out of college, to establish a satellite office in Naples for a large PR firm in Central Ohio. Cultivated relationships to build awareness of the agency and PR services. Secured major clients in the healthcare, real estate, hospitality, and entertainment industries. Grew office to 4 associates and a strong client base in less than 2 years.

■Developed and implemented innovative public relations campaigns speaking directly to, and prompting action from, target audiences; engaged community businesses, schools, media, and nonprofit groups through creative tactics, events, promotions, and tie-ins, generating strong media interest to facilitate increased awareness and success of clients’ projects.
