Objective

My goal is to find a job that will fit my qualifications.  I am a very enthusiastic teacher and want to use my abilities to share with others.

Summary

I am a bilingual Spanish, Social Science and Business teacher with 25 years experience.  I have taught in 4 states and two countries and have lived in the country of Mexico teaching ESL for 9 years.  During that time I learned much from the people in the village and understood much more of their culture.  Because of these experiences, I feel that I have much to share with my students.

My students do so well!  We have just finished a project for which they had to fill out an application, write a letter of recommendation and a letter of intent:  all in Spanish.  After this they had to answer 26 questions in their interview in Spanish!  These were Spanish II students and they did an impressive job.  The principal sat in the hall and listened to some of these.  Later the superintendent said he stood in the hall and listened and was very impressed with their performance!

In August I told my Spanish I students that they would be writing a paper and presenting it in Spanish before Christmas and they could not believe it!  But they did accomplish this!  They were so very proud of themselves!

My life is about my students!  My goal is for all to succeed!
