Myrtle Beach Middle School

I currently teach eighth grade ELA at a progressive Title I public middle school  in Myrtle Beach, SC. This past year Horry County School District implemented a1:1 I-pad initiative, which included tons of professional development and thoughtful "stretching" of my teaching. Programs utilized and integrated into my instruction included Edmodo, the grammar app No Red Ink, digital content programs like Achieve 3000, Curriculet, I-trailer and other blended learning content platforms and strategies. Additionally, MBMS is a Covey Leadership school and I have been learning and using Covey's habits in both my teaching and my life.
