  • Wrote, performed, produced, engineered and designed two full-length CDs of original music available on iTunes

Communications/Fundraising Strategy, Vision and Leadership

  • Develop and implement an integrated strategic communications and fundraising plan to advance Heifer Foundation's brand identity and revenue; broaden awareness of its programs and priorities; and increase the visibility of its programs and benefits across spectrum that encompasses a global audience.
  • Create marketing/public relations and fundraising strategy that will allow leadership to cultivate and enhance meaningful relationships with targeted external audiences, including donors, media and key influencers
  • Identify challenges and emerging issues faced by the organization. Work with leadership team, staff and Board of Trustees to recognize communications opportunities and solutions, and define and execute appropriate strategies to support them

Communications/Fundraising Operations

  • Oversees all advertising, marketing and public relations related to the Foundation including digital/online communications, social media, major donor events, marketing collateral and direct marketing

    • National sporting events for the “Original Toughman Contest” averaging 10 shows per year and coordination of the “Toughman World Championships” with Showtime pay-per-view television at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, NJ
  • Conducted media relations by obtaining press coverage through statewide and national press conferences, media tours, interviews, press releases and performing media crisis management.
  • Purchasing and placement of advertising for TV, radio, newspaper and magazines in several U.S. markets
