About Shane Steele

After graduating from Cornell University, Shane Steele began her career as a consultant with Accenture. While at Accenture, Shane Steele was involved in enterprise-scale software development projects with a focus on UI design, usability, training, and communications. During this time she also worked on a corporate rebranding initiative for a Fortune 100 client and assisted with the brand rollout effort. Building on her experience in technology, UI design, branding and project management, Shane Steele went on to join Sapient, as a Creative Lead and Senior Manager where she led brand and digital strategy efforts for major clients such as Nokia, GE, ING, and VitaminShoppe, among others.

Shane Steele later joined Coca-Cola and rose from senior interactive brand manager to become the director of emerging media and online advertising for the North America business unit. During her time at Coca-Cola, Shane Steele helped guide the digital strategy for the company's North America brands including the launch the My Coke Rewards program and campaigns involving strategic properties such as NCAA, NASCAR, and the Olympics.

Shane Steele went on to serve in senior marketing roles at major media brands including Twitter, Yahoo, and Tremor Video, before founding her own advisory and consulting business in 2013. Since then, she has lent her product and marketing expertise to growth-stage consumer internet companies in the San Francisco area, including Airbnb, Doorman, Omni, Pillow, and, most recently, Chime where she now serves as VP, Marketing.
