Description of the Project:

The B787 IFCS has three sub-functions such as Primary flight Control Function, High Lift Function and Auto flight Function. The PFCF directly controls the elevator, stabilizer, rudder, spoiler, flaperon, and aileron surfaces. The HLF is used to increase the wing camber for takeoffs and landings and to improve stall characteristics. The wing camber is increased by extending the slats and/or flaps. The AFF provides functions necessary for the automatic control and/or flight director guidance of the 787 airplane to selected flight path and airspeed targets.

Responsibilities:

·Define technical integration strategy, Develop Integration Plans, Develop integration test scripts, Develop and implement integration test scenarios, conduct and document integration tests, Track integration test results and retest status

·Technical Lead for System Test Procedures Testing Team (STP)

·Coordinate with Onsite team and offsite team for smooth execution.

·Key Member in VALFAC Setup and Soft Bench setup

·Plan and develop New SYS-TPP for the newly added Requirements.

·Competency development drive in AFCS – Regular weekly discussion

Description of the Project:

The main objective of the FMS is to help the pilot in creating the Flight plan. It optimizes the flight plan for winds and operating costs, fills in the details, and suggests the most economical climb profile, cruise altitude, airspeed, step climb, and descent. If the pilot selects managed guidance mode, the FMS automatically guides the aircraft through the entire flight plan, from takeoff through landing. Also, the FMS tries to provide the lowest possible cost for the flight while satisfying all operational constraints.

Responsibilities:

·Technical Lead for System Level Test Procedures Testing Team (SLTP)

·Performed System Level Testing for Data link, Performance, Flight Planning and Guidance (LNAV, VNAV).

·Harmonized the Offshore and Onsite teams for the smooth execution.

·Main Key Member during the RFS Execution, FAA and EASA Audit.

·Partially Contributed in SCR Fixing for Guidance & Navigation system

·Parallely involved in A350 VALFAC up gradation Facility.

Description of the Project:

The A380 FMS is used for flight planning, navigation, performance management, aircraft guidance, data link communications, and flight progress monitoring. It reduces pilot workload in these areas to ensure optimum efficiency and effectiveness.The crew enters the flight plan information and other necessary flight data on the multifunction control display units (MCDUs) and the flight control unit (FCU) (installed immediately below the glare shield). Flight progress is monitored on the MCDU and the electronic instrument system (EIS).The FMS also calculates a precise aircraft position using information from the air data inertial reference systems (ADIRS) and the global positioning system (GPS). It automatically tunes the navigation radios to supplement and verify the position calculation. It establishes an aircraft course to navigate unconstrained by navaid radials.

·Worked as a key Team Member on this project performing avionics embedded software Primus Epic® system level testing of GV & NL (Vertical Guidance & Lateral Navigation) functionality for Business Regional Commercial aircrafts utilizing I-DFSS™ methodology and RTCA/DO-178B Standard.

·Developed test scripts and executed tests on the TIU (Test Interface Unit) automated test bench.
