Shadowed physicians, surgeons, nurses, phlebotomists, and other caregivers throughout all departments to ensure proper patient safety protocols are met (proper hand sanitation between patient contact; patient identification with PIK scanners and/or date of birth before blood draws and medication administration; proper test tube and syringe usage)

While my current research is in traumatic brain injury (TBI), my interests range widely from TBI to medical imaging, developmental neuroscience, learning and memory, and central pattern generators.
