While at Virginia Tech, I was an active volunteer for the Peer Educators, which provided education to students in areas of personal health and safety.  I graduate Cum Laude with a final grade point average of 3.65, was named as a Whose Who Among American College Students and was nominated in 1999 by my professors for the Student Activist of the Year Award presented by the Women's Center.
