I'm a cultural industries manager who for the past five years has been at the forefront of developing and strengthening Nova Scotia’s music industry through a variety of projects and programs aimed at putting our artists in the global spotlight. l strive to help great artists reach their potential and surpass expectations.
Current responsibilities include:
Part-time professional bass player for Matt Mays, and various other east coast artists.
Music Director for the Halifax Urban Folk Fest (HUFF), leading and performing groups to support artists such as Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub), Alejandro Escovedo, David Lowery (Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven), Chuck Prophet, Dwight Twilley, and Garland Jeffereys.
Shared in Juno Award win for Matt Mays - "Coyote" (2014), as well as numerous East Coast Music Association (ECMA) and Music Nova Scotia Awards for Matt Mays, The Divorcees, and The Guthries.
