Working as a USRII I have the opportunity to help members on the teller line as well as on the desk. On the teller line I am able to assist members through their transaction and look at their accounts to see if there are any products or services they are not taking advantage of and then help them to open those products on the desk.
Opening new accounts and building a member profile has helped me so that I am able to find needs that the member may not have known they needed and explain the benefits of the product and why it would be a good product for them to take advantage of.
Being a USRII I am both on the teller line and I am part of the platform staff. In this position I have to be a part of two teams and be able to preform in both positions. I have been able to do so and exceed in this position. As a leader on the teller line I have been able to coach employees in areas that they may not be as strong in. I am also the lead trainer in the branch for new employees. Helping to teach the basics and how the credit union works.
