Receptionist cum General Clerk Work Descriptions Handle all incoming telephone calls and to assist in outgoing calls. Attend to front office duties including receiving services for all incoming dispatches. Ensure that the Reception area is presentable and neat at all times. To attend to visitors and guests to the premises. To handle clerical duties such as attendance & leave management system. Receive, direct and relay telephone messages and fax messages Pick up and deliver the mail Open and date stamp all general correspondence Maintain the general filing system and file all correspondence Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conferencetelephone calls Make preparations for Council and committee meetings Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies Respond to public inquiries Provide word-processing and secretarial support Develop and maintain a current and accurate filing system Monitor the use of supplies and equipment Coordinate the repair and maintenance of office equipment Answerallincomingcallsandhandlecaller' sinquirieswheneverpossible Re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required Greet, assist and/or direct students, visitors and the general public Assist the Executive Director and other staff as requested Provide administrative services for the Executive Director Perform other related duties as required SKILLS Language Skills: Good written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu. General Skills: Critical thinker, independent and able to work with minimum supervision. Fantastic interpersonal, public speaking, customer service, sales, training and coaching skills. Excellent team work, management and coordination capabilities. Computer Skills: Microsoft Office(Word, Microsoft Outlook).
