Quality & Hygiene Manager


Having 11 years experience in production and quality departments of international companies as production engineer, department chef and hygiene&quality manager, I worked for the certification of installation of ISO 22000, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in Ankara unit of the company I currently work. Duties and responsibilities that I assume helped me develop a systematic method and strategic perspective for the work to achieve the desired results. I would like to continue my personal and leadership development in an upper position.

  • Ensuring the coordination of Food Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems in Esenboga unit,  monthly evaluation  of system data with management team and reporting to senior management annually,
  • Maintaining and auditing all food safety-quality-environmental  systems,
  • Planning and implementing internal audits and evaluation of results (corrective / preventive actions)
  • Collaborating with the purchasing department in selecting new suppliers,
  • Supervising and checking suppliers to ensure that they meet food safety-quality standards on a regular basis, following corrective / preventive activities
  • Conducting evaluation performance of supplier's annualy, according to quality-food safety systems, production capacity, process controls and delivery performance criterias
  • Implementing ongoing food safety, quality and environment training for all employees  in accordance with the annual training plan,
  • Providing the necessary analysis of food and raw materials within the microbiological control plan (in internal / external labs),
  • Paying planned customer visits in order to monitor satisfaction level,
  • Reviewing customer complaints and determining the causes for such complaints by investigating with the management team and taking necessary measures,
  • Following legislation, notifications, regulations and codex about food industry, and adapting those to operation processes, maintaining relationships with government agencies.

In 2011, I worked as the project manager for fresh food departments and led the project preparation and pre-opening processes in Tesco Kipa's Isparta store. I managed all pre-opening processes of fresh food departments (setup, legal information labels, order, trial production, shelf layout, production plans, staff training, coaching) and coordinated the audit preparations of the store. With the dedicated efforts of my team I work with, Isparta store has received the value award from the CEO as the most successful store in its first audit (Food Safety-Quality-OHS) among the new opened about 30 stores.
