I am a 34 year old female currently working as a projects Portfolio Manager for Eskom and currently responsible for all capital projects in the Ekurhuleni Metro. I am a smart, dedicated, driven and self disciplined female. My career objective is to establish herself in a dynamic environment where her extensive passion for Engineering, Project Management, People and Team-based work can be fully developed and utilized. My educational objective is to register for a Phd degree in January 2017.

I am responsbile for:

  1. Project Planning and design for Power telecoms systems & equipments.
  2. Attending meetings with different stakeholders involved in the project and liaising with different departments and contractors to ensure proper planning and execution of the project.
  3. Compiling of asset specification report for each project.
  4. Providing detailed design and scope of work for Field staff and contractor activities.
  5. Compiling system proformas for purchasing and adjudication of non TNC tenders technical content dealing with different suppliers such as ABB, Alstom, and Siemens.
  6. Negotiating with contractors and installation staff regarding equipment installations and installations standards
  7. Providing input into station audits and refurbishment proposals by site visits and utilization of the databases

I was responsible for repairing faults on signalling equipment such as points machines (hydraulic C1H, switchmatic, Integra, GRS), track circuits (AC, Jeumont, Az SM ® axel counter), power equipment’ (battery chargers, UPS, changeover panels, inverters) and remote control (S1, S2, CS90).
