- Use Wordpress to coordinate the StarPhoenix's website through the posting and arranging of content, from both our in-house reporters and around the Postmedia chain, with a focus on driving engagement and creating a loyal reader-base.

- Make use of the StarPhoenix's various social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) to promote the brand and drive traffic to the website.

- Work on the team developing the voice and engagement strategy for the StarPhoenix app

- Shoot, edit and publish videos on any number of subjects for the newspaper's website and social media accounts, in particular larger projects that require a more experienced editing touch.

- Contribute editorially, writing news stories, arts pieces and features for both the paper and Bridges, our weekly magazine

- Spent 13 weeks as a full time reporter for Thailand's largest English-language daily newspaper

- Gained valuable experience working in a foreign market and adapting not only to the newsroom environment, but to a culture completely different from my own

- Covered all manner of lifestyle topic including film, travel and books as well as harder news areas such as human rights activism

- Worked closely with a staff of approx. 100 designers and programmers to ensure bugs and glitches did not arise as changes were made to videogames under development.

- Worked on two titles: Prototype (2009) and another game that was cancelled by Activision in 2010.
