Worked under the guidance of Professor Soto to conduct statistical and computational analysis of a demand side data set regarding electrification of villages overseas in developing communities. Coding work consisted of Python, shell-scripting, and Makefile usage with some web development. Extensive command-line git.

Worked with other assistants under the guidance of Professor Suzanne Rivoire to assist in high-performance computing research. Duties consisted of modifying and utilizing a scientific computing framework of Python and R for machine learning tasks. Additionally, worked with Hadoop and Apache Mahout in conjunction with a performance measurement utilities to prepare data for analysis.
