    I managed personnel and inventory for four retail locations.  I purchased, priced, and merchandised inventory for all locations.  I was responsible for hiring, developing, and firing employees based on performance levels.  I worked with customers on the showroom floor and strategically upsold merchandise.

    I sold cars for six months, being promoted to Sales Manager after repeatedly winning Salesman Of The Month.  I managed and developed the Daewoo brand for Hancock as a manager.  I was in charge of ordering and merchandising inventory as well as developing and training sales staff.

    I manage the online presence of Herndon Chevrolet.  I cultivate sales prospects through emails and telephone calls.  I set apppointments with the customer and work with them from start to finish on their automotive purchases.  I help with advertising  and marketing of our inventory on the internet through sites such as Autotrader, Craigs List, our company website, and Facebook.  I am responsible for tracking successes and forecasting.  I have finished in the top two in sales every month since starting this positiion.

    As Used Car Manager, I developed and trained sales staff, worked with customers, and managed and marketed inventory.  I broke sales records twice during my tenure and still hold the record for the most used cars ever sold in store history.  I won Most Valuable Employee Award my first year working for the company.  I was promoted to New Car Director and managed sales staff and assistant managers while being responsible for sales numbers and forecasting.

    I worked with Herndon Chevrolet for seven years as a New Car Manager, Internet Sales Manager, and  Used Car Manager.  My duties included managing salespeople by helping them increase their sales through training and through assisting with their customers.  I managed inventory by tracking and forecasting.  I managed customer base with follow up and service and after the sale.  I was in charge of managing our Customer Satisfaction Index with General Motors, a means of measuring customer satisfaction with your dealership through surveys, keeping us above the national average and earning us Standards Of Excellence bonus money for the store from GM.  I made GM Mark Of Excellence, the top sales award as New Car Manager.  I helped Herndon achieve the status of number one Chevrolet dealer in the state during my tenure.

    I am an agressive sales representative who is very strong at developing customer relationships where follow up is key to retention.  I have excelled wherever I have sold and have a strong customer following after almost ten years in the automotive business.  I am also a licensed insurance producer in the property and casualty line.  I am also a Notary with the state of SC.  When I am not selling something, I am enjoying life with my wife of 17 years and my two beautiful daughters.  I attend church and sing in the praise band as well as teach preschoolers with my wife.

    My career objective is to enlist with a professional orgainization where I can utilize my selling skills to advance company market share while enjoying the success of gaining and building long term client relationships.
