Ram Dandillaya, MD, FACC—Vice-Clinical Chief, Division of Cardiology, Cedars-Sinai Heart Institute

Scott Lehman is a true agent of change. I have known Scott since 2007, when we were both involved in nuclear cardiology imaging. We had a common passion centered around improving patient lives through mobile cardiac imaging. We translated this work into a model working with donor heart evaluations and cardiac imaging. When everyone else thought this model was not viable, Scott believed in me and the vision. Scott helped to create a sustained business model and a new paradigm for assessing donor heart viability for Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs). His leadership has resulted in more lives saved with record levels of new donor hearts, decreased case times, maximized organ yield and new organ acquisition revenue. I will say that change in the OPO world, like many other industries, is slow. Scott had the vision and perseverance to convince OPO leaders and clinicians to implement new clinical processes and technology to save more lives. Scott has a unique ability to connect with people, and it directly translated into revenue (and clinical process improvement) for our business and for our customers. Scott has the drive, insight, integrity, and ambition to create and execute complex programs within healthcare organizations. I have seen this on many occasions. We have worked extremely well together and it has been always a pleasure working together. His communication and presentation skills are terrific and he was able to instantly create rapport with OPO team members. I highly recommend Scott for any future executive and leadership positions.

Karen Rago, RN, MPA—Independent Health Care Consultant | Former Executive Director, Heart/Lung Transplant, UCSF Medical Center

I met Scott when he contacted me to review his Telecardiology Company’s processes, customer service and quality of care. I was impressed with Scott’s passion for improving the care of patients by utilizing teleradiology and telecardiology. He was also passionate about improving heart donor organs through timely Echocardiograms read by skilled Echo Cardiologists. Scott is a life leader and recently completed his Lean Black Belt certification. He is a pleasure to work with and I would strongly recommend Scott for Healthcare Leadership positions.

Robert Shiroff, MD, FACC—Cardiologist/Board of Directors, Volunteers in Medicine of Southern Nevada | VMSN

I really enjoyed working with Scott - it is a real pleasure working with him. I first came to know Scott when he recruited me for a remote reading contract in Las Vegas. Scott has a deep understanding of the tele-cardiology and organ recovery space and was able to improve my income growth as a cardiologist. I appreciated how Scott treated me as a colleague with his openness and passion for quality care. He is a tremendous advocate for his colleagues and an excellent ambassador for customers. He is respectful, available, accountable, friendly and fun. Scott is a great leader and business manager. He is a person of honor and he does things the right way. The business world needs more leaders with integrity like Scott. He works tirelessly to get the job done, whether at the executive level or working directly with a customer. One of his great strengths is his ability to come into difficult situations and work to diffuse the issue at hand, and help everyone come to a solution that all parties can agree to. His unwavering dedication to his team and to our customers has helped the company become the success that it is today. Scott's technical proficiency, strong leadership qualities and acute business savvy have been instrumental in the growth of our cloud-based start-up company. If the opportunity ever arises, I look forward to working with him again. I would highly recommend him to any organization. Scott, without question, would be a valuable asset for leadership positions.

Hunt Russell—President, Minnesota HIMSS Chapter | Owner7, Medical Systems

Scott's leadership was the reason our cardiac CT teleradiology project was so successful. Scott was a consultant who initially approached 7 Medical Systems on behalf of his client, teleradiology provider StatRad. I liked Scott immediately and found him open, honest and straightforward. He was persistent and didn't give up easily, which was a great help in ensuring our project’s ultimate commencement and success. Scott thoroughly outlined deliverables and workflow for remote cardiac CT reconstructions to meet 30-45 minute turnaround for ER evaluation of after-hours acute chest pain. Scott connected 7 Medical, StatRad’s CEO Dr. Vishal Verma and their end-user; a private, nonprofit, integrated health system in San Diego. Scott was a valuable asset to StatRad and the health system since they were looking for a solution to meet the above noted goals/objectives. Without Scott’s expertise and persistent behavior, the project would not have succeeded as well as it did in a timely manner. Scott also researched all options and presented to both StatRad and the health system the right, long term option. After reviewing a number of vendors, Scott championed 7 Medical Systems as a cloud-based solution for managing radiology workflow between the health system's ER, StatRad’s PACS and their reading radiologists. The project was quite complex, with multiple parties and end-users. I was particularly impressed by Scott’s ability to handle complexity and people. As a leader, Scott earns my highest recommendation.

Pete Burger—CEO, 3DVolumetrics

I worked with Scott while setting up a partnership between my company and the company he was working for. It turned into quite a complicated project. Scott maintained a very professional attitude throughout it all and provided a lot of information along the way. He knew what to look for and how to accomplish the things that needed to be accomplished. What I liked most about working with Scott is he was always available to sort out any problems right away and did it all with a smile on his face. Scott knows how to meet any challenge and managed to surpass my expectations on all occasions.

Howard Reis—President, HEALTHePRACTICES

Scott is a creative thinker and a diligent project manager. I saw him master several social media tools creating electronic campaigns for new healthcare services which were professional, thought provoking, and especially effective. He also approached a complex business development project with a strong use of personal contacts, persistent follow up, and a strong understanding of the technical challenges, resulting in his presenting a very creative solution meeting the needs of multiple parties.

Neil Singh, RDCS—Sr. Clinical Applications Specialist, CardioRad Partners | Owner, Cardio-Beat Imaging, Inc.

I worked with Scott Lehman as a colleague to support our engagement with the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency (LOPA). I saw firsthand how he connected in the boardroom with LOPA executives, managers and clinicians. Scott created a clinical service line for serial assessments of donor heart function for organ procurement that decreased LOPA's case times, maximized organ yield and saved more lives. I know how hard it is in healthcare to come up with a new, better way of doing something and have that accepted as the new standard of care. Scott Lehman did that. Scott is a man of his word and he was fun to work with. I highly recommend Scott Lehman as an executive, as a team leader and as a person.

Kate Mungovan—Director, CardioRad Partners

I have never worked with anyone more consistently positive and professional than Scott Lehman. Scott is a leader that people will follow. Even when times are tough, Scott is completely reliable and grounded. As a leader, Scott has demonstrated an in-depth, practical knowledge of the business of cardiology, and of acquiring and retaining customers. Scott has a true talent for communicating and negotiating where the outcome is beneficial for all involved. What a rare gift! During the early and critical stages of the conception and start up of CardioRad to the present-day, Scott has provided us with thoughtful, wise and nurturing insight and guidance. Working for Scott was an awesome opportunity and I will never forget the experience. I learned a lot from Scott. His guidance saved us a lot of time and money and, more importantly, kept our momentum moving forward in the face of what could have been crippling obstacles. Scott can put on a business hat, or a technical hat, or a project hat and be comfortable in any of them. Scott is always professional, helpful and friendly. His attention to detail and ability to connect with others is impressive. He is absolutely a valuable asset to any team! He is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him without reservations.

Jake Wengroff—Founder/Director, JXB1 Social Business

Scott hired me to do social media and content marketing for CardioRad. He actually found me by performing a LinkedIn search, and after several discussions, we decided on a progressive, iterative program utilizing videos to drive awareness of CardioRad's capabilities. Scott remained patient and flexible throughout the duration of the project, and developed a keen interest in learning about how to maximize the potential of social and digital marketing strategies. Even under pressure, he handled situations with humor and decency. Scott is a consummate professional and was a pleasure to work with -- I only hope I have the chance to collaborate with him on subsequent projects.
