Scott Krowitz serves as a Principal at Lexolution, a legal staffing outfit he co-founded in 2001. Lexolution provides paralegals and contract attorneys to businesses and individuals seeking inexpensive yet highly skilled legal assistance. Under Scott Krowitz and his partners’ guidance, Lexolution now draws from more than 17,000 legal professionals. Services offered by Lexolution include trial preparation, substantive litigation, corporate and real estate due diligence, litigation discovery, corporate housekeeping, substantive corporate and real estate transactional work, and foreign language review and translation. Scott Krowitz has found a strong niche for Lexolution in this last category, as the list of foreign language assignments now encompasses 25 languages. Translation work through Lexolution often costs much less than comparable services offered by translation companies.Prior to forming Lexolution, Scott Krowitz worked with the firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. During his six years with the firm, Scott Krowitz specialized in insurance coverage, securities, franchise law, commercial contracts, and environmental litigation. Before joining Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker, he worked as a commercial litigator with Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett in New York City. Married with two children, Scott Krowitz graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1987. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University in 1984. Active in his local synagogue and AIPAC, Scott Krowitz is a retired member of the Connecticut State Bar and the New York State Bar. He also is a former member of the American Bar Association.
