  • Led new business development efforts in expanding structured loan portfolio for $10 million to $100 million size deals, creating senior debt, mezzanine and convertible debt / hybrid equity deal structures for a $2 billion hedge fund.
  • Sourced and analyzed for investment over 30 private and public company investment transactions in various industries, having due diligenced, structured lead terms and managed closing process on various transactions, with focus on Technology, Healthcare, Clean Tech and Real Estate.
  • Managed CEOs and CFOs of portfolio companies on business development, M&A and corporate finance strategies with focus on driving shareholder value.
  • Advised Investment Committee and team of five business development officers on new investment generation and financial structuring strategies.
2005 - 2006

Managing Director / Co-Founder

  • Developed business model for the trademarked Merger IPO ("M.IPO") process which combines a bridge investment, a going-public reverse merger, an institutional PIPE financing and extensive pre-deal strategic/management development and post-deal aftermarket support.
  • Developed and established ARC business strategy and marketing strategy and managed team of 8 people through successful execution of those strategies.
  • Functioned as Head of Capital Markets, managing relationships with venture capital firms, institutional PIPE investors, and investment bankers to raise funds and generate awareness and liquidity of portfolio companies as a public investment.

  • Generated institutional client book as team leader, covering New York hedge funds and institutions from both deal marketing and research/event driven perspectives.
  • Acted in investment banking role for PIPE transactions, helping source, negotiate and close private placements, facilitating growth financing for small-cap companies in the Healthcare, Technology, Clean Tech and Consumer industries, having closed 28 PIPE transactions.
