Today, Scott Fish serves his local community of Franklin, Tennessee in several ways. He works to improve the operations of UP Development, a local company that specializes in the development and rehabilitation of commercial retail spaces and properties for clients located mainly in southeastern United States. A resourceful leader and manager, Scott Fish guides projects from conception to completion. As Principal, he navigates both practical and procedural territory, handling design and execution as well as acquiring city planning permits. Currently, Scott Fish and UP Development are focused on a number of projects, including new retail spaces in Cool Springs, Tennessee; Altamonte Springs, Florida; The Mall at Millenia in Orlando, Florida; and many others. In the past, Scott Fish and UP Development have completed projects for a number of established and beginning firms, as well as for well-known companies and businesses, including Walmart, The Home Depot, DICK’s Sporting Goods, and Target, among many others. Prior to obtaining his role as the Principal of UP Development, Scott Fish studied at Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan, in 1984, where he also played football and occasionally coached. An avid supporter of athletics, Scott Fish rescued and rehabilitated the A-Game Sportsplex, formerly the Southern Ice Arena, located in Franklin, Tennessee, and has served for several years as a significant sponsor of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, or PRCA, as well as branches of the Elks Club, the Boys and Girls Club, and the Franklin Police Department.
