Responsible for managing all sales and merchandising relating to all corporate and independent supermarket sales within our company for beer, non alcoholic beverages and in some areas wine. Other duties include but are not limited to:
-Managing and developing relationships with Store Owners, Buyers, District Managers, Store Managers, Grocery Managers and account level decision makers.
-Managing a crew of sales professionals and merchandisers over a large geographic area to ensure vendor merchandising needs and standards are met, stores stay sufficiently in stock, displays and programs are properly executed and each chain's programs are understood and followed. Accepting change and adapting our service levels to our customers with our employees as business and seasons change.
-Analyzing sales trends as they relate to supermarkets to identify key opportunities for sales in the market and working with inventory coordinator to ensure limited out of stocks at warehouse.
-Meeting and working with suppliers to grow sales, execution, and grow their brands in the market. Coordinate with their Key Account Managers to ensure proper execution with chain accounts.
-Execute all resets for all categories while working closely with the Shelf Set Coordinator to ensure proper execution, presenting any problems and identifying any opportunities.
-Coordinating with delivery supervisors to ensure timely delivery and logistics that meet the need of the customers in market and ensure timely service from sales and merchandising.
-Staying within budget for the department while maintaining positive sales trends for segment of business in the company.
-Working with other department heads to ensure a team atmosphere that works for one common direction.
-Runs regular sales meetings with my staff to ensure proper information and execution flows to the sales reps and merchandisers
