Leadership experience of 400 people, including 5 GMs, having full P&L responsibility of a $62M division with $2.5M capital budget and 2,500 customer locations across 5 states. Took over Controllership of a $1.7M business which grew into a $120M organization. Slashed turnover from 75% to 27% after helming operations. Trusted by business ownership to acquire and consistently turn around operations; transformed one location’s true earnings from $383K to $1.7M annually within 24 months, while boosting another location 274% during the same time period. Implemented employee safety program which drove accidents down by 90%. Increased service level performance by 75% within 1 year. Recognized as one of the top 25 women in business by the KC Business Journal in 2007. Also one of the Women of Influence in CEO Midwest Magazine in 2009 and in an additional 2010 publication.

Acquisition/Mergers – In-depth experience with 12 acquisitions, from both the Operations and the Finance sides. Doubled company size with each of two transactions; acquired one company that was twice the size of employer’s revenue. Additionally, completed 3 acquisitions within 12 months on two separate occasions. Catapulted revenue during VP of Operations tenure, from $11.7M to $62M through smart acquisitions and subsequent turnarounds; this includes growth of 75% in 2006 and another 77% in 2009. Sizes ranged from $500K to $30M cap companies. Also sold off operations, once netting $.5M, while adding a $400K account within 30 days through 007. Full P&L responsibility - preparation of monthly financial statements, annual budgets and analysis of operations.  Implemented controls for warehouse, routes, products, and cash. Tracked shrinkage-maintaining 1/2% when industry average was 2%.  Established vault procedures for complete accountability.  Director of HR - produced employee handbooks, set training procedures for all levels of personnel; negotiated benefits and reviewed and presented benefit packages to owners and employees.  Installed new industry specific sofware and condusted training.  Introduced new PDA's for higher route accountability and efficiency.  Researched, purchased, and implemented new accounting and asset tracking software.
