Role:  Program lead for Intel graphics software stack responsible for driving the software program execution. Also managing key customers (OEM/ODM) accounts. 

 Key Responsibilities & Major Achievements:

  • Delivered 28% YoY program efficiency while leading the program execution of delivering Intel Software product to 15 leading customers.
  • Directing the cross functional and R&D teams to manage full product life cycle of Intel Software and drove overall 10% of YoY throughput efficiency.
  • Unlocked a potential $500M market segment for OEM by driving a new design/spec request for Ultrabook from proof of concept to reality.

Field Application Engineer

Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)

Role:  Lead for Sales Engineering (FAE) and Technical Marketing. In this role, I defined the product positioning for key Govt. contracts and enterprise deal that contributed to the revenue. Also work with marketing team on product collateral design, marketing positioning and PR relation.

 Key Responsibilities & Major Achievements:

  • Defined product positioning and tender responses that helped secure Govt. contracts worth $2.4M
  • Increase awareness of AMD products by serving the role of technology evangelist at industry events.
  • Awarded with the “VP Spot Light Award” for driving a sales of $1.5M with “AMD gaming café” concept.
  • Created marketing collateral such as “Roadmap guides” which were used by sales teams. As part of marketing activity, exclusively managed and organized Gaming events in Mumbai colleges.
  • Co-Developed product strategy with HCL to enabled new market segments such as entry-level gaming PCs & Netbooks. Worked with HCL and a Taiwan ODM to meet price points and product definitions.
  • By strengthening the sample and Demo unit distribution process, improved Media coverage by 40%. Worked closely with PR team and drove various tech media and blogger community interactions.

Role– As Technology Analyst (Tech Journalist), I was responsible for researching and writing about new and upcoming technologies for print and online version of publication.   

 Key Responsibilities & Major Achievements:

  • Authored more than 50 articles including cover stories for one of India’s most prestigious technology magazines. Covered consumer and enterprise technologies such as gaming PC, Servers, storage, SAAS, Web2.0 etc.
  • Lead Technology reviewer for x86 processor and PC Graphics
  • Independently took over sourcing of desired hardware and software products from PR and vendors for various stories, resulting into 30% increase in product availability for stories. 
  • Successfully managed and executed the annual IT implementation project - IT Implementation Awards which was most read article for that year (2007).
  • As a Project Champion in the “IT Implementation Award”, presented the project done by NDPL in a seminar and the same project won the “Most Challenging Project Award”.
