About Satoshi Kajiyama

In 2013, Satoshi Kajiyama accepted his current position as a minor league athletic trainer with the Boston Red Sox franchise. In this role, he has offered general health care, including injury prevention and rehabilitation, to athletes on the Greenville Drive and Lowell Spinners teams. Additionally, Satoshi Kajiyama assists with travel arrangements and player documentation.

Mr. Kajiyama previously practiced at the Orthopedic & Sports Enhancement Center, located in Bloomington, Illinois. During his time at the center, he fulfilled the head athletic trainer position for students at Heartland Community College and the Normal CornBelters baseball team. For his performance and dedication in this position, he garnered Frontier Athletic Trainer of the Year honors in 2012.

Satoshi Kajiyama completed a bachelor’s degree in physical education at Bridgewater State College, where he served as vice president of the Athletic Training Club. Furthering his education, he received a master’s degree in kinesiology from Illinois State University. During his graduate studies, he published a research article in the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine.
