Having specialization in Animal feed products, Oilseeds, Edible Oils & modified products e.g., Vanaspati, margarine etc ,detection of   adulteration in oils ,Spices & Condiments, Processed Fruit &Vegetable Products, Bakery & Confectionery Products, Food Colors & Food Additives according to Indian & International specifications(BIS, PFA AND OTHERS) and particularly, advanced Instrumental analysis of fatty acids, vitamins, micronutrients etc.    

Research Experience
  • Detoxification of oil cakes obtained from indigenous oil seeds for   utilization in animal feed formulations.
  • Comparative study of Groundnut and Sesame with quality attributes in relation to food and animal feed purposes. 
  • Surveillance of Nutritional Quality and safety Characteristic of Milk sample sold in Delhi & NCR.
  • Conducted a study on the “Effect of DMPS (antifoam agent) on frying performance of Sundrop Superlite oil”. The experiment was conducted on bread cubes and on common Indian culinary fried items like Besan Pakoras, Potato chips and Pooris.
  • “Studies on Shelf-Life of Market samples of edible oils and Microwavable Popcorn samples”  for Adani Wilmar Ltd “Assessment of the performance evaluation of the heavy duty frying oil developed by Adani Wilmar Ltd.
  • Effect of Dimethylpolysiloxane on performance of refined Mustard Oil.
  • Summated Project Proposal for setting up new food testing laboratory under the scheme of ministry of food Processing Industry (MOFPI) successfully in year 2012   
In House Research Experience
  • Surveillance of Nutritional Quality and Safety Characteristics of Milk sold in NCR Delhi.
  • Estimated consumption of milk and milk products in NCR Delhi is around 55-60 lakh litres per day. Some 30-35 lakh litres of liquid milk is sold as pasteurized packaged milk, some 15-20 lakh litres of liquid milk is sold as raw (so called fresh) unprocessed brought in crude steel and aluminum containers and about 10-15 lakh litres is consumed as milk products.
