National Public Health Scholar Bowl Champions

Macalester's Public Health Bowl team placed first in 2018 Public Health Scholar Bowl.  Competition was among 15 universities and colleges from across the nation. The competition included: Conducting a 20 minute presentation on a prompted project proposal for three public health leaders/scholars.

Rockies Regional Ethics Bowl Champions

Macalester's Ethics Bowl team placed first place in the Rockies Regional Tournament. Articulated and  presented multiple stances and arguments concerning 10 different real life ethical scenarios.

Distinguished Young Women Participant

Attended a four hour rehearsal every Saturday for two and half months in preparation for competition. Rehearsals included workshops such as interview skills practice, public speaking skills and women's empowerment.
