As a consultant, I partner with Corpus Christi area retailers to maximize their marketing efforts and increase sales through advertising on three media platforms: TV, internet, and mobile. The seven media properties among these platforms are KRIS (NBC), KZTV (CBS), KDF (Independent), KAJA (Telemundo), the CW South Texas, KRISTV.com, and KZTV10.com. I also write and produce TV commercials to be utilized in both this market and markets across Texas. In addition, I provide PR services for my clients by writing and editing news releases, scheduling media appearances and talent interviews, and implementing social media strategies.

**KRIS Communications is the only configuration of 7 multi-media platforms under one sales organization in the nation**

At CBS News, it was my responsibility to manage the main office and daily tasks. I conducted research, such as pulling news clips twice daily and creating media lists with CisionPoint. I edited news releases and pitched news stories to media outlets for the CBS Evening News and 60 Minutes. In addition, I drafted listings for The Early Show Saturday Edition. During my time at CBS News, I also assisted in the preparations for special events including photo shoots, a book release party for a CBS News medical correspondent, and the 2010 Super Bowl.

At Camp Zephyr, I served as a liaison between the executive staff and camp directors. I organized seven programmed camps each summer and created camp rotation schedules for up to 700 guests per week. I booked speakers, bands, and special talent for each camp. I coordinated and directed special events, and worked with the staff supervisor to execute these events with a 30-person staff. In addition, I formulated and built stage design for Camp Zephyr’s programmed camps, designed a seasonal newsletter and wrote for the Camp Zephyr website.
