My overall objective is to work in editing and publishing.



Time Management

I have always had great and successful time management skills. Since grade school, I have played sports while being a full-time student. At IUP, I was a four-year member of the women's basketball team while finishing a double major in English and Journalism in four years. My GPA, a 3.7, supports how effective and successful my time management skills have been.


I have taken courses based on photography and photojournalism, gaining skills with the basics and understandings of camera control and what it takes to capture good photos.

Writing and Editing

My degrees in both English and Journalism have helped expose me to multiple genres of writing and editing. Each degree has brought me valuable tips and understandings about good writing and how writing can be approved. I also am very fluent with both MLA and APA style writing.   Genres: Poems Short stories Flash fiction Essays - persuasive, research based, etc. Graphic novels Novels Proposals News releases Brochures Magazines Hard news writing Features Ads Web pages
