Further developed my skills in project management, time management, verbal and written communication, data collection and analysis and critical thinking. Group projects included a viral video, relaunch of a luxury brand and an online marketing management simulation.

My dissertation was titled ‘The Glastonbury Experience: An Ethnographic Analysis of Temporal Utopianism.’ Which was conducted through participant observation, ethnography and netnography. It detailed consumer culture theory, rites of passage, experiential marketing and how consumers interact with space.

Local Marketing Manager


In support of Specsavers corporate vision and objectives, my role is to create, implement and manage the cluster and local marketing strategies and tactics across two regions for 78 stores across the South of England. 

I am responsible for developing marketing plans for all store launches, relocations, major refurbishments, under performing stores and priority stores in my regions ensuring they remain profitable. This requires a collaborative and highly organised approach working closely with the store partners, retail team and business development team to achieve corporate objectives.

Member of the Cardiff University kickboxing club.At school was part of the school hockey team, and participated in inter-school cross-country competitions and athletics. I now currently enjoy rowing, yoga, pilates, hiking and cycling.

Films: Enjoy visiting the cinema or watching dvds. I particularly like Spanish cinema, action films and Hitchcock classics.

Reading: My favourite authors are Haruki Murakami, Anita Shreve, Harper Lee, F. Scott Fitzgerald and Philip Pullman.
