I have worked in the theatrical costuming world for almost twenty years now, doing everything from laundry and dressing, to design and patternmaking.  I have extensive experience in working on a budget and making garments do things that no one expected them to do.  I am, therefore, quite good at thinking around corners and through monetary concerns.

I have decent computer skills, and tend to teach myself quickly.  Among the computer software I have learned to use myself is Photoshop (up to CS5).  I've also taught myself enough to maintain two websites (one a forum-based community, the other an online compendium of my work).  I can author html and am learning php scripts.
