I have worked in hotels, tourism and hospitality for just over 6 years. I also have experience in retail. I found that doing these types of jobs is my passion. My interest in people and making them feel comfortable allow me to be good at my job. I take work seriously and I am flexible when it comes to scheduling. I know I will be an asset to any company I work for as I firmly believe that the customer is always right and I would never let anyone walk away unhappy.

Red Roof Inn

 I have experience working all three shifts at The Red Roof Inn. My job duties are taking reservations, checking our guests in and out of the hotel, and providing excellent customer service.  Other duties include, giving directions and recomendations for attractions in the area.

Baymont Inn

My job duties included answering phones, taking future reservations, checking guests into the inn and providing them with directions and information about the area. I also cleaned and re-stocked the breakfast area and put everything away each morning when breakfast time was over.

There is an overlap in the time of employment with The Baymont Inn and Red Roof Inn because Red Roof Inn never took me out of the payroll system when I moved.

I did not work at The Baymont very long because I moved back to South Carolina due to family emergency and worked at The Red Roof Inn again 6 weeks later.

I worked out in  the market as the evening manager. I typed up menus, assisted our guests with party planning and delivered lunches to elderly people in our neighborhood.

As one of the managers, I trained new employees and helped them with thier job duties.  I was also responsible for opening and closing the store and preparing the deposit to be taken to the bank.

Sales Representative/ Assistant Park Ranger

Hunting Island State Park

I Provided excellent customer service, took reservations for the cabins and campsites, and registered guests to check into the park . I also helped with inventory control and kept the office and stores clean and organized.

After working here for some time, I was given the opportunity to become an assistant park ranger. I was then in charge of closing all of the stores and stations on the island and transporting all of the money to the main office. I also had to complete safety inspections and patrol the park to help maintain safety and security.

I started out in housekeeping and and I was moved to the front desk shortly after. My duties were to check guests in and out of the hotel. I also made reservations and provided guest services.
