Cops Monitoring

COPS Monitoring is a nationwide, central-station alarm monitoring & dispatching service.

My responsibilities included responding to burglar and fire alarm activations.  The Dispatcher would monitor computer workstations that alerted us to activated alarms.  Upon activation, the Dispatcher would follow protocols to send police, fire and ambulance service depending on the type of alarm.  The Dispatcher also communicated with client business and homeowners to verify alarm activations and determine the need for police, fire or ambulance.  Heavy telephone interaction with homeowners, business owners and 9-1-1 emergency dispatchers.
