Strategic HR consultant Established in 1949, Higgins Coatings is Australia and New Zealand's premier commercial painting contractor. In sectors such as civil and new construction, commercial buildings, education, facilities management, government, health, hospitality, sports and recreation, Higgins Coatings are the experts. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Human Resources Manager is responsible for strategic HR leadership, organisational development and culture change. We are aligning knowledge, skills and systems with changing business needs and employing and retaining the right people with the right skills. This position manages 3 staff members and represents over 350 employees and 600 subcontractors. Developed and implemented Cornerstone on Demand for LMS and Performance Review Established online training offering with inclusion of internal systems training(built internally using Captivate, Hype Tumult and iBooks for manuals) Assisted in implementing an Internal Management System obtaining accreditation in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 Restructured HR Administration, implemented new systems and process for the employee lifecycle with a focus on on-boarding and induction Implemented leadership development program(LEAD) and Leading Teams program to further develop and refine culture Developed a competency framework against each role type Managed and coached leadership team on all IR and ER issues for the business Responsible for Return to Work across the business Managed social media engagement across LinkedIn, Instragram and Facebook Box Corporate
