Intern, Assisted with public relations and event execution, donor, intern, guest and volunteer relations tasks, education outreach programs, daily husbandry duties, assessment and admission of birds to hospital, and preparation of diets. Duties included learning World Bird Sanctuary's falconry and raptor handling techniques, general maintenance of sanctuary facilities, administration of medication to birds, and training of birds. Designed an informational brochure for the sanctuary as a special project. v

Worked with Cover Missouri, and a media class at Missouri State University to coordinate promotions for the Affordable Care Act on campus. Worked with a graphic designer to design logos, set up social media accounts for promotion, and arranged an event on campus. v Special Events Intern, Dickerson Park Zoo August 2012-November 2012 Assisted with the preparation and execution of the zoo's largest event and fundraiser Spooktacular. Duties included execution of Spooktacular, assistance with purchasing new decorations, maintenance of decorations, donor and guest relations, volunteer coordination, decoration assembly and placement, and general security duties. v

Writer and Editor, Wrote for the online publication for an upper level journalism class at Missouri State University from January to May. Promoted articles via social media, shot and edited photos and video, created short video news stories and produced video shows. Chosen as top writer for the class and picked to be editor starting in August 2014. Assingned stories, edited student work, developed stories, managed the Wordpress account, and re-designed the site. v
