About Sarad Baral

As president and physician at Everest Medical Center, PA, in Pocomoke, Maryland, Dr. Sarad Baral sees patients on a daily basis. During business hours, he attends to patients at his office, and after hours, he travels to nearby nursing homes and the Edward W. McCready Hospital in Crisfield to check on patients. Board certified from the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in internal medicine, Dr. Sarad Baral holds licensure to practice medicine in both Virginia and Maryland.

In addition to his work at his own office, Dr. Sarad Baral serves as medical director for Maryland-based Snow Hill Nursing Home & Rehab in Snow Hill, Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke, and as community medical director for Peninsula Regional Health System in Salisbury. After finishing medical school at Rajshahi Medical College in Bangladesh, Dr. Sarad Baral spent time as a health officer at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal. He then ventured to the United States and completed post-graduate medical training at the Kaplan Educational Institute in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at the UPMC - McKeesport Hospital, also in Pittsburgh.
