  • Keep precise files of guest history and specific guest complications in their stay of the hotel.
  • Work as Night Auditor 6 nights of the week.

Online English Teacher

As an English Teacher with the program HobbyTalk, I perform the following tasks:

  • Talk to students of all ages with a broad range of knowledge of the English language, from speaking very little to an extended understanding.
  • Speak through conversation and the student's interests to make learning a new language more fun and interesting.
  • I help many students study for the TOEIC test, which is a worldwide English aptitude test required by many employers. The test scores reflect the student's ability to progress in the company by being able to converse with foreign officials, workers, etc.

As Front Office Clerk for La Quinta Inn and Suites, I performed the following tasks:

  • Answering phones, dealing with patient folios, applying payments and incidental charges
  • Amended complaints and incidents in accordance to management. Kept precise files of guest history and specific guest complications in their stay of the hotel. Worked as the sole employee of the hotel during my shifts
  • Assisted in many animal accommodation extensions, as we were a pet friendly hotel and hosted many guests visiting the town for dog show conventions, rabbit show conventions, and horse show conventions. Assisted housekeeping on my down time with simple tasks.

Office Assistant to Veterinarian

As an Office Assistant for this veterinary practice, I assisted in the following tasks:

  • Creating/filing all paperwork for in/out animal patients.
  • Assisted veterinarian with simple tasks, such as euthanasia, fecal samples, blood work, giving/applying medication, and animal grooming.

  • Created data tables for extended stay patients that included wellness, behavioral improvements, and regulatory body functions.
  • Assisted in kennel cleaning for more serious cases of canine parvo and illnesses with like severity.

In all of my jobs, I have had an abundance of experience learning how work with my peers and customers to create a positive and happy environment. I believe it is best when everyone is satisfied with the situation around them and I work hard to create compromises and solutions that meet everyone's expectations.

Billing/Selling Management

I have learned decent billing and charging tactics from working as a hotel clerk for many years. I have also had experience selling the 'points' of a room to guests who are indecisive.

Animal and Insect Care/Management

I have an abundance of experience in dealing with, caring for and containing many species of mammals, reptiles, insects and arachnids, which has led me to a very strong interest in them and no hesitance in dealing with them.
