He worked as a physician Informaticist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He is currently a clinical informatics fellow at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Ali holds a master's degree in medical Informatics from OHSU, a Physician Executive MBA degree from the University of Tennessee and a PhD in Medical Informatics from Rutgers University.
